Paleo Potluck in Dogtown

Bring a paleo dish to share and your own beverage (if you want). I'll provide some 100% agave tequila, club soda and a ton of limes, for paleo(ish) margaritas. Kids are welcome too – my daughter will be there.

Self-Care Working Group

This will be a paid event ($20) to implement a consulting service in a group setting. Outstanding contributions from attendees will be appreciated with a free pass to a subsequent meeting. Practitioners, too. Topics will include lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, diet, sleep, quantified-self technology, self-empowerment and any topic from any of my past Dialog Dinners hosted by Joni Sare, or blogs from www.Project Wellbeing.com.

Three dates per month: the second Monday, the third Sunday and/or the fourth Thursday. Pick one that is most convenient, or attend all three. The Sunday is for longer time and easier transportation. I hope this is flexible enough that at least one date will work for you. If none of these work, please let me know.

This is intended to be a working group, where progress over time is part of the process.

To ensure a safe environment, all participants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement that binds them against discussing any other person's health issues and meeting comments.

There is no requirement for implementation. You can sit and listen for informational purposes only, if that is what you wish.

If you do not know me and would like a general introduction, watch “Nutrients for Better Mental Performance” on the Google TechTalk Channel on YouTube. Or just type “Steve Fowkes” at the YouTube prompt and select something else.

Perfecting Paleo Happy Hour!

Bring a snack and beverage to share while we review and discuss the new book, Perfecting Paleo! Ashley Tudor, the author who penned Sweet Potato Power, is back with another brilliant publication to help us enhance our Paleo lifestyle! The book is simple and concise and will help us tailor a Paleo approach based on our goals and needs. Let's get together and exchange our thoughts on the material in the book and how we can apply it to benefit our awesome lifestyle! Please have the book read by the date of the meetup and prepare a review of the points that resonated most with you.

Couponing with Kris 2.0!

Since Kris' couponing presentation at Whole Foods was such a resounding success, she is back at it again! This time, Kris will guide us through a successful shopping trip at Sprouts. Can anyone say double ad Wednesday?! Well, Kris has even more tips and tools for us to save big at Sprouts and how to make our dollars stretch every time we shop.

The location will be determined depending on how many people RSVP. If there is a small number of us, we can meet inside a Sprouts store. However, if there is a large interest, we may need to conduct this gathering at a more accommodating venue. We will do our best to choose a spot in close proximity to a Sprouts location so we may begin our shopping strategies right away!

Luau themed pool party and potluck!

Paleo Ketogenic Asian Fusion Potluck

Do you like Japanese, Thai,or Chinese food? Are you ready to take on the challenge of making it super low in carbs? • You are curious about food in general, and about meat in particular.

• You're game for a fantastic meal, in an unlikely setting.

• You're considering taking on Autoimmune Paleo, GAPS, SCD or some other elimination/provocation protocol, and are wondering what the heck would be left to eat.

The Wilds of Riverdale

Let's roam through the greenest part of the five boroughs, and get down with nature along the river. While moving through nature we can do a little wild foraging also. I know a few nice mulberry trees that are at their peak now.
