I’ve known for many years that the modern diet doesn’t suit my body (I have Coeliac Disease) and yesterday I watched the Perfect Human Diet video and Food Inc (SBS). I’m convinced I need to try the Paleo diet, but I need to get to grips with exactly which nuts and seeds are OK and how much meat and other protein to eat. Any bright ideas about making it simple would be welcome.

I started training doing the CrossFit and that’s how I learned about the Paleo Program. It has been a struggle but an enlightenment following this program. I have been on it for 3 months and trying to find foods in the mornings is difficult due to I’m not a huge fan of eggs. I am hoping that your website can give me new things to try for breakfasts. So far, I am liking your site. Thank You !

I need to have coconut oil sent to my sister in The Netherlands. She cannot buy it there. She needs to treat infections. Is 85 years old. doesn’t speak English and does not use a computer. Difficult isn’t. I use it myself for everything as well, skin, cooking, eating etc. Can you let me know if it is possible to send coconut oil directly to The Netherlands when I pay the bill here in Australia?? Thanks. Maria

Thank Goodness!!! More and more doctors are waking up to the fact that refined carbohydrates are the cause of diabetes and that fat is not the enemy so many believe it is. I just hope this slow turn-around will escalate so I see a complete reversal in my lifetime! Also, I am heading off to my pantry to get rid of all the dried beans (every type you can imagine in there!) that I have kept for way too long. I will grind them up and give them to the chickens instead of wasting them (which is the way I was brought up, don’t waste) so at least they will become a food I know I can eat. I have always had stomach pains after eating anything made with dried beans, that’s why I rarely cook with them and why they are now so old. Bullets, even when soaked for days!! I will have SO MUCH MORE ROOM in my pantry when I get rid of all these. I always thought dried beans were healthy, that’s why I’ve persevered, but I’m convinced now that they aren’t. But green beans are ! Thank goodness for that. I love them!

4 weeks into a slightly modified paleo lifestyle, energy has increase significantly and
I’m taking about 1/2 the allergy pills I was taking prior.
Our modifications are mostly condiments, we love dill pickles and we are using some
light salad dressings without sugars added.
Hardest thing is coming up with good breakfasts since I can’t fathom eating dinner for
breakfast. I’ve found lots of recipes that do not include eggs (can’t eat them every day) and
    most are not very good.

Strawberries, blueberries, banana in a bowl with some desicated coconut and some flax seed covered with almond milk… It’s a little bowl of heaven

Banana pancakes. Mash 1 banana mix in 1 egg. Melt some coconut oil in a pan, pour in the mix. Once cooked add sliced strawberries and some blueberries.

I had an illeostomy for almost a year and had no problem eating Paleo style meals almost 100%. Whole foods are good for you no matter if you have your colon or not. I have had my ostomy reversed recently and still Paleo is my diet lifestyle. I am getting more healthy every day. You may have to adjust the volume of your vegetable intake, but your body will tell you.. eating good whole foods, vegetables, meats, fats etc.. is an excellent way to live. Good luck with everything.

I am excited to finally find that a change in the mundane diet regime which has been
the way to live for centuries, can give us a healthier and more longer existence. I have been
doing the crazy yo-yoing from diets to over exercising for many years.

This is a very interesting eating plan. I find it to be very imperative for my diet. I have lost over 75lbs in the past year and I still have 40 more lbs to my goal weight. My younger brother has lost 95lbs on weight watchers and he’s now a lifetime member. He told me about Whole 30 and I guess it ‘s close to the paleo diet. I’m going to try and make Paleo my new lifestyle!! Cindy
