This is a fermenter’s dream come true! This festival showcases local and regional experts on the history, benefits and how-tos of fermented foods. This all-ages experiential one-day festival celebrates the art of making traditionally fermented foods and beverages such as kimchi, kombucha, kefir, pickles, beer, sauerkraut, wine, cider, cultured vegetables, and sourdough bread, and empowers attendees to make these foods at home. I’m presenting a hands-on demo and talk so be sure to come by and say hi. I’ll also be hanging out with my good pals at Cultured Cuisine in the Food Vendor Area. I’ll have my books available and Cultured Cuisine will have their incredible Cultured and Saucy condiments for sale and sampling as well the Probiotic Jar available for purchase.
