Saucepan
Masher
- 1 large potato peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons rosemary
- sea salt &black pepper
Prepare the Potatoes: First, boil the potatoes as you would to make mashed potatoes. This helps to break down the starch. Drain the potatoes and mash them with the olive oil until smooth.
Season the Mixture: Next, add the rosemary to the mashed potatoes and season with sea salt and black pepper. Mix well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
Shape the Crackers: Spoon a spoonful of the mixture onto a dehydrator sheet. Use the back of the spoon to shape the mixture into your preferred cracker size and shape.
Dehydrate: Place the shaped crackers in the dehydrator and set it to 145 degrees. Dehydrate for about 16 hours, but check regularly and adjust the time as needed to achieve the desired crunchiness.
Alternative Oven Method: If you don't have a dehydrator, you can also make these crackers in an oven. However, please research the times and temperatures carefully to ensure they dry out properly without burning.
