Ingredients

For the base:

  • 300 g Almond meal
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder onion powder, thyme, oregano, basil & salt

For the sauce:

  • Tin organic diced tomatoes
  • Tin tomato paste
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon oregano

For the topping:

  • Onion
  • Capsicum
  • Mushrooms
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Beef
  • Kangaroo Steak
  • Coconut Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Prepare the Crust: In a bowl, mix together the almond meal, eggs, coconut oil, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, basil, and salt until a dough forms. Grease a baking tray with coconut oil and press the dough evenly across the tray. Bake for 15 minutes until it starts to turn crispy.
  • Make the Sauce: While the crust is baking, combine the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, crushed garlic, and oregano in a saucepan. Simmer for about 15 minutes, then blend until smooth.
  • Cook the Meat: In a pan, heat some coconut oil and brown the beef and kangaroo steak slices. Set aside.
  • Sauté the Vegetables: In the same pan, add a bit more coconut oil and sauté the onion, capsicum, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes for a few minutes until they start to soften.
  • Assemble the Pizza: Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the baked crust. Add the cooked meat and sautéed vegetables on top.
  • Bake the Pizza: Return the assembled pizza to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes. Once done, remove from the oven, slice, and serve.
