Trip to Rolling Hills Farms

Speaking of Farm visits, Heidi and Rod Trusler of Rolling Hills Farm recently invited my family to visit their 150 acre farm. I would love to take my new Grok Star friends out there. They raise grass-fed beef, pastured chickens and pork, as well as plant a huge organic garden. They have done a lot of research on sustainable methods and are believers in the Weston A. Price concepts.

Rolling Hills offers a monthly Meat CSA Program consisting of beef, pork, chicken, organic eggs, and a Thanksgiving turkey. I recently started getting my meat from them after some frustration with another farmer. I like their packaging (vacuum sealed) and appreciate their flexibility to my family's needs. If anyone is interested, I am wanting to start a new pickup for their CSA in Mt Juliet/Hermitage area on Saturday mornings.

I would be happy to work with Rod and Heidi to schedule the grand tour. Maybe we could arrange a Primal picnic on the farm.
