Let’s bring our own foods (BYOF). WE can share and swap
foods we bring.


Soon to be first-ever National Urban Park. A full day – runs like a conference.
Fun like a festival! We'll take care of lunch, there's even a corn roast.
Music to cap off the day.


Rouge Park is a gem in the GTA.
Thriving meadows, forests, rivers and wetlands, decades of community support.
Community protection, oodles of critters, rustic hiking trails and
Exciting Volunteer opportunities – all tucked into one park!

Where: Toronto Zoo, overflow parking lot #4 (Near #1749 Meadowvale Rd.)

There are
nearly 40 kinds of mammals living in the park – who will you spot along a
guided hike?


RougeFest is about connecting, learning and having a lot of
fun. We invite friends, new and old, to come out and experience what is soon to
become Canada’s first-ever National Urban Park!


Inform, inspire, involve – that's what RougeFest is all
about. Learn about what makes Rouge Park so special, discover the many ways to
enjoy the park, and become a part of a community that strives to protect and
enhance this magical place.


There will be activities held throughout the day:


•canoeing to the mouth of the mighty Rouge River,


•aboriginal dancing demonstrations (we hope you'll dance


•exciting nature walks with experts sharing their knowledge
of the area


•build habitat for bats


•create a boardwalk along our Orchard trail


•learn how to pitch a tent


And so much more! Of course, we'll top the day off with a
corn roast and live music.


Your ticket includes lunch, and a bus shuttle to various
locations in the park.
