Let's meet-up at Great Country Farms to pick peaches (we're working on a fruit leather recipe and hope to make it in masses once perfected), have a picnic and let the kids run wild. There is an admission fee if you're not a member, but it's well worth it if you plan to stay the day. Tons of activities and fun to be had, plus wonderful picking fields.
We'll also plan to stop by Fields of Athenry farm on our way out, off of Snickersville Turnpike. We need to get some lard and they also sell TONS of Paleo/Primal/WAPF friendly items, including the best lamb we've ever found and true grass-fed butter.
If you're able to meet, let us know – we look forward to getting sweaty and sticky with peach juice with you on Saturday! (if it doesn't rain…)
Find out more about Great Country Farms, and what they'll have available on Saturday here, usually they have at least 2 crops going but only publicize one: http://www.greatcountryfarms.com/index.php/u-pick/now-picking.html
