Mt.Cooke Hike

Note: I've rescheduled for Sunday, seeing as how the election is on Saturday.

——————————————

Enjoy the view from the tallest peak of the Darling Range (at 582m above mean sea level!)

9.00am – Meet in the carpark behind Ye Olde Narrogin Inne
9.15am – Convoy to Mt Cooke
10.00am – Start walking

Picking up the Bibbulmun Track, for an 11km loop

Descending the Northern slope for lunch at the Mt Cooke hut, before returning to the cars (along the flat bit).

3.00ish – Return to the Narrogin Inne. And a tasty beverage?

This is an all on-track walk. The path up to the peak is a little strenuous, but we take our time.

More detailed walk map is here. And a Google map here.
