Fermenting and Gut Health Workshop

If you're interested in gut health, fermenting or really just love kombucha and sauerkraut (guilty as charged! 😛 ) – then this workshop is for you! We are so excited to welcome Dr Sarah Lantz to Mt Gravatt Plaza. Sarah is the Director of the award winning Buchi Ferments, an international speaker, nutritionist, writer and author of the best-selling book Chemical Free Kids: Raising Healthy Children in a Toxic World.

You'll learn:
– An overview of gut health and the importance of maintaining it.
– Fermented foods and how they can help overcome some of the common ailments of modern day living.
– The history of fermenting foods and why we need to introduce it back into our daily lives.
– Easy to learn, everyday fermentation techniques and recipes including kombucha, sauerkraut, water kefir and house cheese.

– Fermented food sampling with some of our favourite local businesses.
