Fermented Foods Workshop – What, Why, and How!

Let me start with… Thanks for the patience. It's been a long winter, but the newborn is healthy and in 3 month clothing, the new house is livable, and my potatoes and sweet potatoes are already planted.

Time to get back on it!

Several folks expressed disappointment at missing the last one, and several folks who made it expressed interest in another, so we're doing it.

In this month's Fermented Foods Workshop (FFW), we'll go over the ever popular kombucha, sauerkraut (for those who missed, since it's a GREAT intro to fermented foods vs. beverages!) and Garlic Dilly Beans, a crisp and delicious snack that's super easy to make!

Cost for this meetup is:

$10 – covers cost of prepared fermented foods for sampling as well as printouts of all recipes and tips for safe fermentation

OR

$20 – all of the above, PLUS all supplies necessary to start your own fermented foods right along with us during the class, which you'll then be able to bring home to finish the fermentation process and enjoy with your friends and family later!

Because Meetup only allows for one cost level, please let me know in your RSVP if you're interested in the “Do it yourself” level and I'll be sure to bring the supplies for you; the other $10 to cover the difference can be paid in cash when you arrive at the workshop!

Message me directly if you have any questions! I'm excited to see you all and stoked to get the group back up and rolling!

NOTE: THIS IS A SHARED MEETUP AND WILL INCLUDE ATTENDEES FROM SELF-SUSTAINABLE AND SELF RELIANT AS WELL AS STL BUSHCRAFT! Don't worry, they're cool too, I promise!
