A Healing Herbs Hike

Spring is in the air. The spring herbs are out. We will explore the many Spring offerings of nature. We will talk about the properties and uses of the plants. 

We'll meet at the “educational building” at Hidden Villa (contact Joni if you want to carpool)

Wear layers, bring water, bring food (see POTLUCK info, below).

280 to El Monte exit toward Moody Rd. Right onto S El Monte Rd. S El Monte Rd becomes Moody Rd. Turn left to stay on Moody Rd. There will be a Hidden Villa sign. Turn left into Hidden Villa. Park in the main and furthest parking lot. Meet at the Educational Building.


$20.00 per person and $5.00 per car.

5 people minimum, 12 people maximum.

About Anya: 

Anya's learning began in early childhood with a passion for healing wild plants, mushrooms and berries. Her first teachers were Siberian Shamans who showed Anya (then 14 years old in Kiev, Ukraine) how to use herbs, energetics as well as acupuncture points. Since 1992 (when Anya immigrated to the US) she studied extensively with many distinguished masters. Trained in traditional Chinese Acupuncture by B.J. Wang, Japanese Acupuncture by Kiiko Matsumoto and Koei Kuwahara, Anya also learned body energetics and trigger point therapy from Mark Seem, Arya Nielsen's Gua-Sha technique, Niikura sensei's Ki Breathing and others.

Anya Tyutyunik is a nationally certified & California licensed acupuncturist, and a Masters' Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. She specializes in internal medicine, chronic diseases and women's health. Anya synthesizes many healing techniques into her own style. The secret to her success is insight, experience and devotion to health and well being of her patients.

</a>THE POTLUCK…. bring food to share:
• Please bring a raw vegan dish that can serve 3 to 4 people.
• Please bring a tag to put along side your dish that describes the name of the dish & its ingredients.
• If you are new to raw food, you can bring fruit, cut veggies, or a simple salad. Or you can purchase raw   food at Café Gratitude at Whole Foods Cupertino, or go to the raw food section of any Whole Foods Market or other health food store.
