Urban Chicken Coop Design! Thinking about getting some birds this spring?
We'll cover how to design a home for them in the city. Security, weather protection, vermin prevention, and ease of use are all aspects we will address in this class. You will leave with a list of options and ideas to
make keeping your flock easier for you and happier for your birds.

Learn how to care for days-old chicks, successfully raising them to be healthy, productive additions to your urban farm. Charmaine Slaven will cover requirements for feed, space, heat, supplements, nesting, protection and more for the various stages of chicken life, with a special focus on care for the very young. Items you will need to raise chicks are available for purchase before and after the class at our SFC warehouse.

This class is available on THREE different dates with three different instructors. (Roughly the same material will be presented each class.)
