Bike ride along the Seminole Wekiva Trail

Time to inflate the bike tires a little and head to the Seminole Wekiva Trail for a pleasant ride up to the Panera near the southwest corner of Lake Mary Boulevard and I-4. We can just get coffee, have an early lunch, or turn it into a picnic, given that Panera has not yet earned its Paleo credentials. This is an easy ride, with a likely speed of about 12 to 14 mph. As for getting to the trailhead, you can bike, drive, or take the bus.

For future rides, we can go much farther along this trail, even as far as Lake Monroe or New Smyrna Beach, though the latter does require an early starting time! We'll always gear this toward the collective muscle mass of the group. No need to worry about being left behind, as there will be a sweep.

Suggested: helmet, rear-view mirror, basic bike tools, pump, spare tire.

See you there!
