While I have been eating mostly primal for the past couple of years I do still have some not great habits (artificial sweeteners, bad oils), cravings (pizza mmmmm), and I don't honestly know if dairy affects me poorly (gosh, I hope not).
The book It Starts With Food, based on the Whole 9 website, has been out for a few months now. I picked up my copy at the library and have really been enjoying it. It proposes a 30 day period of strict clean eating followed by a methodical introduction to some sometimes/maybe/never foods.
This meetup would be for anyone interested in doing the Whole 30 day plan with some support! I'm thinking October 1st would be a good day to start. This would give everyone a chance to look into it (the book is awesome but most info is available here http://whole9life.com/category/whole-30/ ) and get prepared. New month, new week!
Throughout the month we can:
– Provide support on topics such as “How do I make it through ACL Fest?!” and “I need some tailgating snack ideas.”
– Get together for potlucks.
-Network for CSA/Meatshare splitting.
