Lacto-Paleo is also called a Primal Diet and is the same as Paleo (no grains or legumes), but it allows dairy, whereas Paleo doesn't. However, the dairy consumed is full fat, of high quality and ideally raw. It's worth trying a full Paleo diet first, to understand what impact, if any dairy has. Some people also find hard and soft dairy may be tollerated differently; experimentation is the key!
